Dorking Hills

Vote Michael Carter

I have lived in Mole Valley for over 20 years and I have been resident in South Holmwood for the past five years. I have two wonderful daughters who have grown up in the area. My goal is to create a better, safer community in which we can all flourish. For the past 30 years I’ve successfully expanded my specialist painting company employing people from the local area.

If elected I would be delighted to be your council representative and I would perform the role with common sense responsibility and enthusiasm.

My goals are to reduce the rate at which the Council Tax increases; stop the LibDem’s wastefulness; improve public transport in our rural area; provide better community care for the elderly; find a permanent solution to the pothole problem and campaign to make the police investigate all crime.

I live locally in the Dorking Hills with my family and have been part of the community for over 30 years. With many years of business experience, I believe councils should be run with the same focus on efficiency, accountability and value for money that any successful organisation requires.

I am standing for Reform UK because residents deserve a council that listens and delivers. Council tax continues to rise while services decline, and I am committed to driving better performance and reducing unnecessary costs so local people get real value for the money they pay.

With major local government reorganisation planned, I will work to ensure the proposed East Surrey authority does not repeat the broken culture seen at Mole Valley and Surrey County Council, but instead puts residents first.
